Hi there, I'm Rhyan!
Hello, I'm glad you're here!
Hey there, my name is Rhyan Armstrong and I'm so glad you found my website. I couldn't decide what I wanted to do when I grew up, so I decided to do them all! You will find a mixed bag of things here, from travel planning assistance & tips, administrative services for hire, my digital store, beauty products, my personal blog and book recommendations, plus anything else that strikes my fancy!
I am a spirited individual with a lot of passions and I decided why limit myself? Some of the things I am passionate about are motherhood, mental health/ADHD, self-care, how to be a professional while also being a wife and mom, and books/writing. There is a lot of everything here and I am so excited to share it with you!
My Story-A little more about me
I'm so grateful for the experiences I had growing up because they helped shape who I am today! I am originally from Washington state,
I was born over on the coast and spent almost all of my childhood growing up in a small-ish farming community on the East side of the state. While I had some unconventional situations in my childhood, I was lucky enough to have a wide variety of support and influence growing up which allowed me to travel all across the PNW with various family members and friends, from visiting family members to attending horse shows, my childhood was certainly memorable. Some of my favorite things to do when I wasn't traveling or visiting family/friends, were reading and anything to do with the arts! At one point I played both piano and clarinet, as I got older my performances changed to live theater. What started out as one play turned into a complete love for the theater over 7 years, I've done anything from being on the stage, to backstage crew, to sound & lights. By my senior year of high school, I'm pretty sure I spent more time in the theater than I did at home! I was slated to go to New York and compete for a company there, but due to a few situations that ended up not happening. I still hold a great love for anything live performance related, music, theater, etc- I love it all!
In the midst of all that, my next chapter started to begin- the one I share with my husband. We have a pretty unique story, unless you're prior military then it might sound a little bit familiar! We started dating in high school and had been together for a few years when he went to basic training during my senior year. Right before my graduation he got his first orders cut with the duty station being all the way in Maryland. We made the do or die decision to jump in and give it our all, we got married and moved across the country together by the fall after my graduation. While it's not a decision that would work for everyone, it worked for us! We will be celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary in 2025, we have a house, 2 cars, 3 kids, 4 cats, and 2 dogs. Our house is a zoo that is chaotic and crazy but we love it all. We currently live in the Baltimore/DC Metro area where Bryden got a job after being in the military for almost 9 years. I have had the privilege to stay home with the kids most of those years, we previously did homeschool but recently transitioned to full-time public school. After doing so much traveling of our own over the years as a family, I decided to become a travel agent. I've been doing it for 2 years at this point and absolutely love it, you can find more information on that over on my travel services page! I'm excited to have you here, be sure to explore the site to see all the different topics I cover and things I offer here!
